The Science

Why Dry Ice Blasting?

Traditional engine bay and undercarriage cleaning relies on high-pressure water, which risks shorted sensors, rust on unpainted metal, and damaged wiring harnesses. Indigo's dry ice blasting uses solid CO₂ pellets at −78.5°C. On impact, the pellets sublimate instantly, creating a micro-thermal shock that lifts caked oil, grease, carbon, and grime without ever wetting a surface.

Standard services are mobile. We come to you, no water or power needed on your end.

Dry ice blasting. Available at our Industrial Area location on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9am. Blasting is not offered as a mobile service.

Deposit. KSh 2,000 for standard services. 50 percent of the total price for dry ice blasting services.

Cancellations. Free cancellation with 24 hours notice for standard services, 48 hours for dry ice blasting services.

Where is dry ice blasting done and on which days?

Dry ice blasting is done at our Industrial Area location in Nairobi. It is available on Thursdays and Fridays only, from 9am.

How much does dry ice blasting cost in Nairobi?

Our dry ice blasting packages run from KSh 22,000 to KSh 145,000, depending on the package.

Is dry ice blasting safe for my engine?

Yes. Dry ice blasting is 100 percent waterless and non-conductive, so it is safe for ECU modules, direct-injection rails and sensor arrays. It also lifts dirt without scratching aluminum, rubber or carbon fibre.

Do I need to book in advance and pay a deposit?

Yes. Dry ice blasting needs at least 48 hours notice and a deposit of 50 percent of the package price. You get a full refund if you cancel with 48 hours notice or more.

Is dry ice blasting mobile?

No. Dry ice blasting is done at our Industrial Area location only, so you bring your vehicle to us. Our standard detailing services are mobile and we come to you in Nairobi.
